The grapple has to be one of the best implements I've ever had. No more dragging brush in the heat. Thanks Joe at the Morganton Rural King for helping me with all my tractor needs!

Yes sir! I had the third function installed when I bought my RK 55, Hydro, Cab back in December 2018. I had to wait on the grapple until February this year. I thought the bucket was awesome but when I put the grapple on it was a game changer. I almost always have the grapple on unless I just need to transport dirt a ways. I have put 140 hours on the 55 doing storm clean up from Hurricane Michael. It is truly amazing how productive a grapple has made this tractor.

Definitely! One of our most used attachments and stays on the loader most of the time. We went with EA and it was worth the wait.

Yep, just made 31 grapple sized piles of Pine branches ready for the next fire. I get the fire going and then start hauling to the pile. It sure beats what we have been doing for 25 years!

I went with the EA Wicked 60 and that is why I had to wait. I was torn between the flat bottom tine style like you have and the root rake. I went with the root rake and love it although I think any grapple is would be great.

Which grapple is that and what size? I am getting my 55SC next week when we return from vacation. Also is your 55 a hydro or shuttle?

Yeah so I did the 60” as well. I didn’t see a need for the 72”. I got the one that rural king carries. I’ll definitely post pictures. One thing I was thinking about doing is putting an LED light bar across the front and maybe the back. Are the lights bright enough?

I've been using the grapple a lot over the last 3 months and can say I've never felt like I needed it wider, but there have been a couple of times where it just fit in some tight spots. 60" seems to be the sweet spot for me, and I think I would have been perfectly happy with even smaller.

I don't do much on the tractor after dark but a few times I've needed the lights to finish cutting a field. So far the front and rear work lights that come standard have been plenty good for me.
