Thanks all new to this site as you know and in tryin to figure it out

We are JD and Cockshutt owners we have a 40 Cockshutt for sale I was wondering if anyone would know what it's worth my husband was hoping to fix it up and show it but time is scarce he works construction 1 1/2 hours from home and we are weekend farmers not much time left for fixin any thoughts would be helpful

Welcome aboard,, what is the serial number on the Cockshutt 40? is it a diesel? if so it will have a D4 behind the 40.. my grandfather had one back in the 50s.. Lou

Thanks for replying Lou I can get the serial # for you i believe it is a gas. The back tires are the original Cockshutt tires and they hold air it is a cute little tractor
