Very, very cute. It's been a long time since I listened to Dino's version.

Ermie, you had too much time on your hands last night. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ernie, that is one of the coolest, most fun, most well-done and all-in-all most enjoyable things I have ever had the pleasure to see. I just e-mailed it to my entire extended family, and I know they're going to enjoy it as much as I do.

Thank you so much for sharing it, and have a great Christmas yourself, and a great New Year!

Happy Holidays again all -

Hey, I just want to put in one more "plug" for this cartoon/Christmas card, and give some background on it.

Not only is this one of the most purely fun and enjoyable and heart-warming animations that I have ever seen, it is also a little slice of musical history. The incredibly talented people who did the music and singing for this animated cartoon might be long gone from this planet - I'll have to check on that - but if so, their music lives on, and they continue to bring joy to their fellow man long after their passing. May we all be so fortunate.

This Cartoon was made by Joshua Held in 2002 (http://www.joshuaheld.com) and as I know recording was made by Clyde McPhatter and the Drifters in 1954 (Bill Pinkney sings the bass lead) (Atlantic Records, 1954) and song was written in 1942 by Irving Berlin.

As some one said on the "link" page to this wonderful animation, Let me wish Merry Xmas with this wonderful card.

Lyrics:

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.

Ernie, as my Mom would say, ya done good. Thank you again so much for sharing this amazing Christmas present with us all.

Again, I wish you all a very happy holiday season, and a great New Year. And I leave you with a rhetorical question posed by another great musician, Elvis Costello .... paraphrasing him just a bit; "just what is so funny about peace, love, and understanding?"

Peace, John D.

Thanks for the card. My wife and I really enjoyed it. Now I am old enought to remember Bing Crosby singing the song in the movie "White Christmas" that I believe that it was originally written for.
