i can't speak for dougster, but up until a year ago, i had a pair of danner hiking boots that i bought around '94. i did have to buy new socks a long the way though.

Dougster, If you find a left Mahindra RED rubber boot in size 8, send it to me. With all the rain down here now, I sprung a leak in my left boot at the 3 inch mark.

Brandi - They make you buy two shoes (or boots) at a time. They don't have to match, but they make you buy two. Stupid rule. Prices should be set per shoe. That all worked against me one time when all I really needed was a new right one.

Ed - The trick to making those socks last is to always put some newspaper in your holy shoes. Otherwise them socks don't last worth a darn.

Nah... gotta be the "real deal" or what's the point? Would you want to start a relationship with a new dealer whose very first move was to try to fool his potential customers??? I think honesty would be the best policy here... even if it meant the display tractor ended up maybe a few years newer.
