Restorations can run the gammet. As Soundguy said, a few hundred bucks will fix the items you mentioned. A total "Expo Quality" full tilt restoration can go way into the thousands.
As far as collectability, those early 1000 series are probably the LEAST sought after of the small Ford utilities, but that doesn't mean they aren't decent tractors. They just fall into a transitional period as far as Fords tractor line. Old design, at the tail end of it's run, but with "new" colors, model #'s, ect. I know where there's a couple 2000's for sale at right now. One in pretty good shape, owner wants $3300. Other is a hulk....$2500. Seen 'em sell on occasion for up to $4000.
There's getting to be a new title being tossed about with tractor pullers and collectors alike. The old guys are antiques, tractors built from late 50's through early 70's are being called "classics".
And, from what I read, Ford and Massey Ferguson utilities from the 60's and 70's are FAR more "collectable" in England than in the States.
