Oil Leaking - Please Help!

I am new to this forum and tractor ownership. I recently purchased a Yanmar 2610. I noticed some oil (hydrulic oil, maybe?) leaking from a hole beneath the seat (see pictures below). Please give me a hand figuring what this is. Is it a problem? How do I fix it? etc...

It's not threaded. I just can't understand why transmission fluid (or whatever type of oil it is) is leaking from that hole. It's almost as if that hole was plugged before. I'm confused...

Is there a shaft that protrudes out the other side of the case in the same area for something?

puckgrinder85, the PTO shifter is located opposite of this open hole, where the transmission fluid is escaping. The transmission case looks symmetrical. The diff lock is on the right side (same side as this open hole we are talking about). On the opposite side, there is a plugged hole. I am starting to believe this hole was plugged. Somehow, the plug came out, allowing transmission fluid to escape. Sounds plausible?

You may want to post this down into the Yanmar section where someone has the same model. Mine has a 3ed point adjustment there but its not the same model.

Whatever it is, that plug doesn't seem to be "centered".
The washer, or whatever it is, seems to be damaged and could possibly be why it's leaking.
It could also be, that it's just "overfilled' with fluid.
You could always put a rubber plug, one that adjusts, something like a "boat drainage plug"
and see if that works.
