My massey 65 diesel is leaking oil out of the fuel pump body I have electric pump so can I eliminate the stock pump and make a plate to seal up the opening in the block??? thanks

So long as the old pump isn't doing anything except sealing the hole in the block, I don't see why you can't fabricate a plate to seal the opening. I'd grab a new gasket and trace it onto a piece of steel, or use gasket material and a ball-peen hammer to make your own off the footprint of the original.
