Oil for Suzuki Eiger?

Older neighbor bought a used suzuki Eiger and asked me to change the oil in it. He has no manual and was going to put 5W30 in it. I know my Yamaha does not suggest any of the energy conserving oils. Anyone got one of these to see what the manual calls for?

Hi tom4018,

I own a Suzuki Eiger 2005 and
my manual suggests to use a premium quality 4-stroke motor oil
rated SF or SG under API service class.
Recommended viscosity SAE 10-40.
In very cold weather, (below 5 degrees Farenheit) use 5W30.
