Oil & Fuel Oil filter for 2518

I have a 2003 Cub Cadet 2518 and need a reference for a Fram Oil filter for it. I hope to be able to get these filters locally as I live in the country and the trip to the dealer is costly. Thanks for your help

PS any brand name filter would help as I can perhaps cross reference a Wix to a Fram..........Thanks again

I'd personally run a Walmart Supertech before I ran a Fram, but that's up to you. The extra long PH3600 works perfectly. I use the Wix/Napa/Carquest version on my Kohler Command 20.

As Joel said the PH3600 works fine and gives you a little more oil capacity. I also use the shorter PH3614, only because we have 2 Saturns that use that filter so I usually have one around.

Thats a high quality filter for a very cheap price. Synthetic media, silicone backflow gasket and welded steel guts. I use them and the Super Tech synthetic oil in my van. 5 quarts of full synthetic for $13.00. Meets or exceeds API for gas engines.

Hehe.. yeah, I kind of went outside the box this time around with my Cub 2544, I did an oil change with Supertech synthetic 10w30 and a Supertech ST3600 filter. I didn't have Shell RT 5w40 and a Wix in my stash or the desire to drive to get them this time around. I'm slipping I tells ya! She runs like a top on them.

Right now I have Amsoil in my Cub, but come change time I'm switching to Supertech 10w-40...They don't make a 20w-50 yet, so hafta stay with my Screamin Eagle Syn for now in the Harley.
