yanmar 2000
I have a Yanmar 2000 that has been rebuilt from the head to the crank and still blows oil drops from the Exaust stack . I"ve taken the Exaust manifold off and shined a light in and you can see a stream of oil coming out . I ran the tractor about an hour one day and the next morning checked the oil and it was on the full mark and it looked good . The antifreeze was about 2 inches below the full mark on the over flow bottle . Does any one have any idea what might be wrong thanks mark.

Sounds sort of like a blown head gasket could be blowing antefreeze solution rather than oil.

I'd try some radiator/block sealer.

When your tractor was rebuilt was the head checked out for warpage? Were the bolts torqued to 130ft lbs + or - 3ft lbs. If you have no external coolant leaks and your coolant level is going down I don't see much other explanation.

Is the engine running good? any skips or power loss?

winston pretty much summed it up,;) sounds like an improper sealed or burned head gasket,
what you are seeing may not be oil at all, but coolant mixing with exhaust residue, although if coolant is coming into one of the cylinders you should notice some change in the engines power/performance or feel a slight skip,

It could be an incomplete burn of the fuel.

Was thinking the same thing, a warped head and it quickly reblew the new gasket? Just my thought.

Thanks for replying yes the head was shaved and new valve seals instal d and the valves ground and reseated . when i put the head back on and torque it to 130 psi inside out in three stages and then i put the antifreeze in it and it started leaking out around the head gasket so i torqued it to 140 psi very slowly and it stopped leaking . Then i ran it and it started blowing what looked like oil drops out of the exhaust stack and pretty heavy greyish smoke to .
thanks mark

Something wasn't right if your head was leaking antifreeze after torquing to 130ft lbs. Do you trust your torque wrench? Was the block area good and clean? According to this the 2000 has 3 different gasket possibilities. Are you confident you have the right one? Yanmar Tractor Parts: HEAD GASKET YM2000 Are you getting much blow by out the vent tube?
