I just bought a used MF1528 and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is now time to do the 50 Hrs oil change and I have hit a snag.

I did the motor oil change and greased all fittings without a problem. I am now ready to replace the transmission oil and I do not know how to remove the filler plug. The manual shows the plug but mine looks different. I have a hose connected to the plug. Also the manual does not say it you unscrew or simply pull the plug. I will not drain the oil until I know how to fill her up. Please tell me how to remove the plug.

I am trying to attach a picture, hopefully you will be allowed to view it.

The plug with the hose is added when you put a loader on, its the return to sump. They come factory with a rubber one. Those metal ones are tough to get out, you may have to pry it up with a screwdriver.

Thanks MFRED for your reply and yes, I do have a loader attached.

So if I understand you, I just have to pull hard to access the opening without having to remove the connected hose to the plug?

Right, pull hard. It's got an O-ring seal on it.
