I need a little help. I was changing oil on my 3520 and had my filter off and draining in the pan. I noticed something fall in the oil catch and thought maybe some dirt or something fell in. When I poured out my oil I found about a 1" O ring int the bottom of the pan. I had already ran the tractor for a while only to check the oil so now I am worried about it. I looked up the schematic and could not find one shown but I almost know it came out at the filter.

If anyone can tell me exactly where from I would appreciate it. I will check back in tomorrow. If not I believe it may go on the shaft the filter screws on and will take it off tomorrow evening and check it out.

Never mind, I tried to delete this thread and could not find the delete button. It was just the ring off the oil fill cap and I have no idea how it popped off but I was panicking. I had no idea where it came from so maybe this will give ya'll a good laugh.

Speaking of engine oil, and not transmission?

There is a washer on the oil pan plug. I'd just watch for a leak there, and maybe none until you change it again. Only thing I'd worry about is if it is too tight and hard to remove.

Check with the dealer to see if they can identify it, beings as it may be the oil pan plug washer.

No ring like that shown on the oil filter housing. Only a nut.
