Well, that's it. I started moving boulders building stone walls for the landscaping and the paint is coming off! It's now officially my workhorse at 40 hrs. I need to get some before pictures quick before I get too far. I'm pretty suprised how strong the paint job was before that point. Has anyone else out there built stone retaining walls? Pics would be sweet. I'm pretty pleased with how the loader can get in to even the nastiest boulder pile. It makes an awful sounding racket. I'm glad the dealer talked me into the heavy duty 60" bucket instead of the 72".

Why not the 73" heavy duty bucket and you could hold more material?

My dealer only mentioned a 72" bucket and that it wasn't "heavy duty". Actually In hindsight, I'm glad he talked me into the 60" heavy duty. I regularly "use up" the lifting capacity pushing into the dirt piles I have around. You get the feel for it using the tilt up/down as you lift but I don't think I'd want the bigger bucket. My uncle has a 4600 and he started out with the wider bucket and said he switched to the smaller one to navigate through his woods better, which I thought was a valid argument. On another note regarding the loader. I found that moving the seat forward just enough to be able to brace your elbow against the seat while working the loader makes it a lot more stable when adjusting the bucket and lift while moving, like when loading a truck. Might seem trivial but I was sure glad I wasn't jerking the controls around as much.
