Off Set Rotary Mowers for Kubota MX6000

We are purchasing a new Kubota MX6000 (replacing our L4701 that was lost in a fire). Wanted to get feedback on the available front mounted off set mowers. We have a pond, lake and lots of overgrown pastures and are looking for something to help clear them and then maintain. We had the small Lane Shark but never really got a chance to use it. The motor / bearings burnt up the first time we tested it out. Got it fixed (no charge) but never used it again before we lost the tractor.

I've looked at the Hardee Brush Tiger 35. The company says it will work on the larger tractors (their specs say its for 24-34 hp) but they said you just have to be careful that you don't "over use, over cut" with a larger, heavier tractor. I really like the setup on this vs the LaneShark or PathSlayer or TrailBlazer which run off the 3rd function and tractor hydraulics.

Would like to hear any and all thoughts on experiences with these mowers.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with any of these mowers. I did however have a look at some videos and saw that it was a lot of fiddle work to keep the mower from scalping the grass. Was wondering if you have considered a sickle side mower at all?

We have, but just not sure those would take on the size saplings the rotary cutters will. (Lane Shark 3"-4"). Also, just found out that the TrailBlazer units are no longer being manufactured due to the lawsuits brought by LaneShark.

With what you want to accomplish it would be better to rent or lease a self propelled FECON forestry mulcher once and all your heavy
growth of weed trees and brush will be gone and you will be able to maintain everything with a Del Morino or Maschio flail shredder with
cast hammer knives.

There are 4 FECON dealers in Georgia that you can contact about renting a self propelled forestry mulcher.

A self propelled forestry mulcher will grind stumps below the ground to get rid of them and in so doing eliminate them.

Renting a FECON forestry mulcher for all the heavy work will allow you to buy a smaller mule and flail shredder later.
