Front-End Loader Off Brand FELs and Backhoes

I have a Woods 1006 FEL. It was lower priced than the Kubota and specs are about the same with Woods a little more bulk, and recommended by the Kubota dealer over the Kubota FEL. Kubota sells a lot of FELs and I'm sure I'd be just as happy with a Kubota FEL since I love their tractors.

I rented a Case 580L Construction King backhoe/loader last weekend. On the backhoe was a metal tag that said Woods Mfg.......

I think if we knew who actually made alot of the attachments to our tractors we might be surprised. I've heard Woods makes Cubs Backhoes(maybe loaders too?) Koyker and Kelley are related, Arps is now Amerequip and they make N-H and J-D Hoes. Kubota makes their own(one of few who do). Bush Hog B-Hs look mighty similar to the Amerequip Hoes, etc, etc. If you get into other attachments it gets even more confusing!! The thing is equipment could be made by the same Company BUT to different specs and tolerances we will never know for sure.
All of the above observations are just that observations.
