Obnoxious logon popup?

Does everyone set this site to remember their logon? If you don't you get this obnoxious popup asking you to join the web site before you even have a chance to logon. Now I am a 20+ year IT veteran using a T-3 computer connection and I type about 85 words per minute. Often I can't type my username and password before the obnoxious "Who are you" pops up in the middle of the screen.

A couple of years ago you could browse this site without logging on and logon only when you wanted to. Now they are making it so ridiculous if you don't logon as soon as you get here.

I use Firefox with NoScript and AdBlock add-ins and I never see the popup.

I just wait till it comes up and cancel it and then log in.. you can still surf the forum.. by hitting home without logging in.. Lou

i have had firefox pop up blocker for many years, but still got the login popup......now thanbks to a few posts above, i tried adding script blocker...and guess what no No popup.....YAAAAAA thank you

With my internet connection, it takes about 6 seconds for that screen to pop up. I just wait, cancel it and logon. Just take a sip of your favorite beverage, and it will be there, ready for you to cancel it.

I was thinking the same thing but I just wait for it now,click off beside it,it goes off then proceed to log in. My blackberry just do the remember me...
