Kubota LX2610
I ordered a new Kubota LX2610 but not sure when it will show up. I can't find an overall length measurement of the tractor with the loader and 60" bucket attached, I have a 5' wide by 10' long 2990 lb. capacity trailer and I am wondering if it would be suitable to bring it home.
Thanks

I think if you take the bucket off it might just fit gonna be real tight..............

If your using a pickup to move your LX, and you have a ssqa on your fel,
put the bucket in the bed of pickup.

I will be towing with an SUV but I will have to make several trips as I have some attachments as well. The distance from the dealer to home is about 15 miles over back roads so I think bringing the tractor and fel minus the bucket on one trip and the bucket & attachment in the next trip would be the best plan. The dealer may have an arrangement for delivery as well, I haven't asked him. In future though if I have to bring it in to the dealership I will take the bucket off.

I had my tractor delivered. But its about 8k lbs. I don't even have a pickup heavy enough to tow it. Fortunately, my dealer doesn't try to make a profit off towing. Only costs about $30 each way.

Make sure you have positive tongue weight. You might need to load backwards.

You might also be aware of your total weight. Tractor Data says 1830 for the bare tractor. Plus 562 for the loader less bucket. That is 2392. The trailer has weight too. If your trailer weighs more than 600 lbs, you are overweight. Would I pull it home on back roads? Probably. I've done worse. But, you should be aware of the situation.

If it's a single axle trailer as I suspect, then you will be very dangerous with that tractor on board. A single axle 5x10 is not meant for that type of payload. You will have zero accommodation to adjust the tongue weight.

If the trailer is rated for 2990#, that is intentionally shy of 3000# to avoid the requirement for brakes. That 2990# is normally the GVWR, and the actual load capacity will be around 2000# (read your sticker carefully). You will be well over 2000# with the tractor and front loader (tractor itself is around 1800#) and the total will be over 3000#, meaning it's illegal without brakes.

Most dealers will deliver within that short of a distance for free. Take advantage of it. Even if they charge $50-100 it would be a better idea than using your trailer.
