NY Farm Show Century/Zetor

Just got back from NY Farm show. Thought it was great. Saw lots of neat tractors and things. I worked the Century/Zetor booth. We were very busy through most of the show. Had lots of intrest, got a ton of leads, sold two tractors and had a number of dealers inquires. Any body else go and/or work the show? What did you think?

Chipperman, as you know I sell Bransons, sisters to the Century. We took a half-dozen of them to the World Ag Expo a couple weeks ago and sold a few as well. A lot of tractor for the money.

I just looked at the picture posted by JM3. It looks like the C-40 loader is the same as the BL10 or the BL20 that we use on the Bransons. Is it made by Ansung in S. Korea? The C-50 is probably a Czech loader? We've been real impressed by the Ansung loaders and mounts.

Yes the C-40/30 are the Ansung loaders. They are a good value and they work well. The C-50 is alot stronger unit, especially the sub frame, it is massive and they use a different loader valve that mounts very nicely on the fender. It also has a higher lift capacity and we are will soon offer even a higher capacity option.You are correct the C-50 is from the Chech Republic.

Sounds like you had a good time, and a great show. I'm glad to hear it. I'd like to see a lot more of those nice red tractors around /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
BTW do you know about how much a new grill for a 3045 will set me back. Not that I broke mine or anything /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif, just wondering /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Chipperman, we've had spring like weather lately and things have been selling real well. We are very grateful for the business and appreciate the confidence customers put in us and our tractors. Whether it is Century, Branson, Kioti or the others, people are starting to take a serious look at the Korean tractors and are liking what they see.

Thanks for the info on the loaders. It seems the Ansung unit is overbuilt as it is, the C-50 must be something. I know the Ansung mounts are a lot heavier than most Koyker mounts. The quick attach bucket is great. We mounted a hydraulic post hole digger to the quick attach for one customer, as well as a brush rake.

Yes, the C-50 does appear to be a stronger loader (not sure "much" is the right adjective) but the specs are not all that different from the C-40. In fact, the C-40 has some better angles than the C-50. It seems to me the real proof is in what they can DO. Has anyone actually used both loaders and compared them? Also, the C-50 is quite a bit more expensive (you get what you pay for). Just my 2 cents.
