NX4510 Grapple

The ever popular and dreaded "Which Grapple?" question.

This is a very specific version of the question though.

NX4510CH
Dual Lid EA grapple, either 54/60/66 width

The question is...go with the "Compact" EA version, or the "Large Compact / Utility" version. There is quite a bit of cost and weight difference, but I also assume the durability is quite a bit better on the larger one.

Usage will be mostly picking up brush piles, rocks, and moving around various junk from cleaning up an old farm (junk ranging very widely including anything from an old refrigerator, to Model T parts, to pieces of culvert)

Has anyone with an NX and the Comact version said "I wish my grapple was a bit bigger / more heavy duty"?
Has anyone with an NX and the Large compact / utility version said "This is too big / I could have spend less on the compact version and been fine."

So I found this post after I asked my question (apparently I'm smarter with Search after coffee????). There is a lot of good feedback there. I would still welcome any additional feedback as it seems the larger version is newer to the EA lineup and more feedback might be available since time has gone by.

Between those choices, the 60 or 66" Wicked for compact tractors is my choice!
Eric has had one on his famous NX6010 for years and hasn't held back!

The 400 pound 60" Wicked Root Rake Grapple has also been incredibly popular for NX Kioti and MX Kubota tractors!

I have the 54" single lid EA grapple on my NX and love it. I can see where the dual lids would come in handy but so far I'm enjoying mine

Travis, I think mine is a 72" wide compact which you guys have made open a little wider, added slightly heavier rams, and added the bars in the back to avoid tripping the quick release into your slash fire (heh). Anyway, the original grapple is still going good.

Ok...finally getting ready to pull the trigger, but one remaining question...60 or 66. Main question is regarding the lid spacing - the 60 is 8.5" apart and the 66" is 17" apart. My first hunch is that I like them closer together to make picking up items in the center of the grapple easier, but I'm sure having the lids spread farther apart has benefits too. Suggestions?
