It seems the hole drilled into the base of the support mount of the auger gearbox that is intended to align with the drain plug on the FCTSB72 (front mount snowblower) is nowhere near accessible alignment. Gear oil change will now involve extensive labor.

if its close I would use a carbide burr on a die grinder and REALIGN the hole

Is the blower still in warranty? Less than year old? If so let the dealer take it apart and get bracket with hole in correct spot or make a new hole.
