Ok so it was an impulse buy at another dealer. I sort of like it so far. Only real major thing I wish my plain Jane L had was power steering. Seems I'm not on the flat lawn that much anymore.

I put a spinner on my tractor and it was one of the best modifications I could have done. I mow about ten acres of lawn and it really does save a lot of double handed operations there. What kind of name is that on the tractor? haha

I opened this thread and planned on seeing pictures of spinner rims on a tractor. I guess I haven't been gone from Miami long enough to not immeditely think of that connection.

By the way, the spinner color is great.

Rob,
I've got one too and it's pretty handy. I tend to use mine more when backing up, trying to position the tractor when I'm turned around with the other hand on a valve lever.

I have two spinners... seems that with only one it was never under the hand when I needed it. It roams all around the steering wheel and never stays in the same place. Now, with two, one is always handy... really. And, yep, if I had to do it again, I'd do the same thing... excellent price/performance ratio. They can be had at Harbor Freight for less than $5.:)

I must admit I had a hard time figuring out had that thing went on. Another strap for a different size wheel, longer shorter bolts(no darn instructions!!). I debated on the rubber piece but figured it belonged because it keeps the spinner at a 90 with the wheel, not pointed in toward the middle.

Yes I read instructions...most of the time. :)

BRILLIANT idea. Happen to have a second one and am going to use it.
