Tractor
Agco ST35X
Hi everybody,

Last year my spouse and I bought a small organic fruit farm in Minnesota. The farm came with 3 compact tractors, all sorts of implements and tools. Most of them hadn't been maintained very well, so I've had a crash course in diesel mechanics and figuring out how to operate everything. I've been selling some equipment and trying to streamline. A neighboring farmer-friend found a 35 hp Agco tractor for us that he said would replace all three of the others. I've been using it but still have a lot of questions. Hope to find some answers and empathy here for beginner questions. Thanks

We want, pictures. Lots of pictures.

A couple of years back, a buddy and me went to pick up a 3ph chipper in MN. I swear you guys only have endless trees and no farm land at all! lol

What were the 3 compact tractors you had to begin with?

Haha, you must not have been to the corn part! I'll try to figure out how to post pictures.

The tractors we got with the farm were:
1. a little Kubota (23, I think) with a loader and mower deck. I sold that one - maybe a bad decision, but it got a decent price.
2. a Yanmar 24FX - no front hydraulics, high-crop. Thought I'd sell this and get a UTV, but that didn't happen in time so I'm keeping it another year.
3. an electric-conversion Hefty-G. Not sure how many hp. Belly cultivator, rear hydraulics but no PTO. It works and it's for sale!

Okay, I see now that I'm going to have to post photos! Thanks for asking, airbiscuit!

Cool! Makes me want a flame weeder.

So should I call mine a Hefty-E, too? I thought it was a one-off build. Have other people electrified their Heftys?
