Looking for possible causes and cures for a Mitsushbishi MT2201 FD that starts, runs has hydrolics, gears are good in the rear end and when towed the front gears stay engaged but no go anywhere? Clutch pedal is free

With most Japan made tractors, when the hydraulic filter becomes too clogged or the screen get a slim coating, the engine runs, but the tractor will not move.

My Mitsubishi D 2350 had three ranges selected by a lever on the left fender. If bumped (happened too often) it would end up between ranges and the tractor would not go. Check your range selectors.
