I have had a imtach quick hitch on my 2210 and my 4720 and I have loved them. I ordered one for my new 5525 and I discovered it dont work with my current implements (too wide). I then took the one off my 4720 and put tried it on my 5525 - it would not fit (guess cat 1 vs cat 2). I am about convinced that I don't need it. The telescopic draw arms rock - I wish I had them on both tractors. Does anybody have them on their 4x20?

Yup, there sure is a difference between Cat I and Cat II attachments. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

You almost sound like you expected them to be the same. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yea I agree with you beenthere. What exactly were you expecting D? Cat. 1 and 2/3 attachments are completely different. You can get a set of the telescoping links for your 4720. I'm not sure of the price but for the 4600 they were around $700.

Yes, i believe there is a telescopic draft link package you can order for your 4x20 tractor. My dealer has mentioned them to me before.

I think the list price for the telescoping links are around $220. That's for the 4610 and I'm pretty sure they would fit the 4720. I got a set for my 4610 and would definitely recommend them.

I am pretty new to this buying new stuff. I always had old worn out crap that we have to cobble together! Oh well, it is all good. It would be nice to use all my implements on a quick hitch on both tractors...oh well. I guess I am pointing out the obvious for eveybody else!

If you were to grab some of the Cat I equipment with that Cat II tractor, you might just pull the stuffins out of it. That is what we CUT tractor people would probably call a BIG tractor (although I know there are much bigger ones out there). /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Careful with that BIG boy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Billy the $220 is if you get them added on at the factory. I'm pretty sure it was around $700 to just order them after the fact.

I added them 'after the fact' on my 3520 (probably a smaller set) but it was the same price as adding at the factory and I now I have the fixed ones as a spare set incase of stupidity. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

You got a heck of a deal then is all I can say. If you go to JD parts and price out the telescoping links they are $380/each or $760 for the pair. The part # is LVA 1609 and LVA 1608.
