Noise in cab from diesel engine

well depending on if you get the machine wet alot you might wanna look into a car stereo store that sell the noice eliminating paper. i used this stuff back in the 80's and 90's in cars and it worked really good at cancelling out the road and engine noise. i forgot the name of the stuff but if you go and ask a installer about it they will know what your talking about.

I believe it's Dynamat or something spelled like that.

I have a Foton 704 with cab; the muffler is under the cab and noise. I use hearing muffs to cut down in the sound; it makes a difference in the tone by cutting out the high frequency elements. Depending where the muffler and tailpipe are, there are defuser caps that may help. A lot of sound may come through the tractor frame depending on the engine mounts. If your ears ring after a few hours at least get a set of earmuffs with a high db rating.
