I need to get this tractor fixed up so I can sell it. Before I got the Kubota, the LS was in the shop for a year and a half the Case IH was all I had. Well I was using the tractor every day in the winter to feed hay. The power steering was working, the seals started leaking on the cylinders. I continued to use the tractor because I had to. I ran low on hydraulic fluid and added more for the power steering to work. At some point the power steering stopped working all together and I continued to use the tractor for 15 min a day till I got the Kubota.
After I got another tractor I replaced the power steering seals, inner and outer tie rod ends, and flushed the hydraulic system and changed fluid. I have not been able to restore the power steering at all. I tried cracking a line to bleed any air out but that didn't work at all. I know the system is vented and suppose to expel air by turning the wheels back and forth but that didn't do anything either.
I have a little power steering when engine is up to pto speed and I am lifting the loader.
Loader, and 3 point hitch work fine.
What is the next step to fix it? Did I ruin the pump by running the tractor without power steering?
