No juice JD425

My dad and I both have 425's. Yesterday he was out blowing snow, parked it in the shed, and today has no power to anything. Fuel pump, dash, headlights, and starter are all dead. He said he checked all the connections and fuses, still no luck. Any suggestions?

Have you checked battery voltage and ALL FOUR battery cable connections?

I had that happen on my JD 332 once. Cranked good to demo to a prospective buyer. After demo it was parked, next day battery was completely dead. I put it on charge and afterward it worked fine. Don't know why it went dead overnight but it worked perfectly after charging the battery and did not discharge again.

We checked all connections and went back to the battery. Battery has no voltage, at all. I'm guessing the post broke somewhere inside. It was new last spring but won't light up a test light. We swapped it with an extra I had and fired right up. The funny thing is, it was running 9 hrs before
