Just want to pass along a problem with a happy and cost free ending. I have a Kubota L3830HST, bought new in '04. Recently, when I turned the key sometimes, nothing happened. I thought it was the solenoid, or a flat spot in the starter. When I called the dealer to see about a starter, they asked if I'd checked the connections. I hadn't, so I did. Everything was tight, but I undid them all and sanded them shiny. It's been a couple weeks now, with daily use and no more problem. Lesson learned and a hefty expense avoided.

the best thing for the wire connections is a Dremel tool with either sanding drum or wire brushes cleans every fast

A light coat of grease on the terminals after they're connected can help prevent the corrosion from retuning.
