We bought the BX2370 in early February this year and had a few problems:
1. The front hydraulic disconnects kept coming undone and after three visits from the dealer finally discovered that the plate that holds the connectors was mounted too far forward and the front right tyre grabbed the bracket when you did a right turn, of course while you are driving you can't see this but it was finally fixed after the bracket sheared off.
2. The bucket became slow on the curl.
Dealer came out several times and said there was no problem as the 2370 only had a low capacity pump nothing is going to happen quickly.
Yesterday we had our 50 hour service and after the 'don't care' attitude we went to another dealer, the first one couldn't even give us an estimated price.
Young bloke rolls up and introduces himself and asks if there are any problems, I tell him what has happened while he is busy pulling off the rear grille and cowling and he sticks his head underneath, 'here's the problem' he announces, the linkage between the lever and the valve under the cowling is loose with about 10mm of play, he takes off the nuts and lock washers and replaces them with nylock nuts, 'won't have that problem again' he announces.
He does a walk around the machine and notices scuff marks on the back right tyre, looks underneath and shakes his head in dismay, there are a group of hydraulic hoses which are just swinging in the breeze and have never been secured to the chassis, he fixes that in about 5 minutes then finds out the coolant has never been added to the overflow tank.
Took one and a half hours for the complete service and was very thorough, fixed all the problems that the other dealer said didn't exist and found a couple more.
I phoned up the dealer later in the day and commended the serviceman and suggested he give him a pay rise for such a thorough examination and description of what he found, I was extremely happy and know where I will be going for service in the future.
The other outfit took the tractor for a week looking for problems and said they had run it extensively and found nothing, there was only .1 of an hour on the meter from the time it left to the time I got it back, it is pretty poor when an organisation just don't give a **** after they have your money.

I'm glad you finally got the tractor's problems fixed. I bought a new BX-25 from a dealer that I respect. And they have been stellar with any issues. However, I did spring a leak on one of the back hoe's hydraulic hoses when the tractor was about 6 years old. Apparently, the hose had been rubbing against the frame the entire time and finally caused a leak. As the tractor manual recommends, tires, nuts, bolts, and fluid levels should be checked every time prior to operation. To that I would had, cycle all the attachments and see if any hoses are rubbing.

It just goes to show no matter what brand you buy there are always bad apples in the bunch. When someone asks for some input on some of these non main brands the first thing said is support. So even it being one of the top three there is the matter of support too. I've got a Kubota dealership a rocks throw away and wouldn't let him work on a dog sled but the parts guy is first class. I have two kubota's and do my own work to them as needed. I also have a Branson and the dealer I bought it from is 800 or better miles away and support I get from them is great, then again I also do my own service and work to it. It's obvious the first dealership probably didn't even look to see if there was a problem and just made up a line of crap and wanted you to smell it. Its like that in everything there's good and there's bad. Most of the time the bad don't last. Last thing I had that I heard a line of crap from was a new fridge I bought. Froze everything in it and leaked water from the freezer. They said it was to close to the wall and cabinets on the side. I pulled it out to the middle of the kitchen and it still did it. Had the go around with them for a year and the warranty was up. So it's now in the garage collecting dust and the new one is in the kitchen. I always bought whirlpool and mess up and bought a fridadare. There's a whirlpool in the hole now. Doesnt matter what color, brand, or size at some time you will have to listen to a line of crap you don't want to hear and know it smells. Sorry about the rant Im just tired of smelling the crap too.

Funny that you mention having problems with a new frig. We just bought a new frig and the ice maker wouldn't work. It took 2 repairmen and 3 service calls to make it work, and I helped solve the problem myself. The water supply line to the ice maker would freeze solid and not make any ice. Well, the supply line came through the refrigerated portion of the frig. And the setting for the cold cuts compartment was set at 32 degrees! I suspected this was the reason the line was freezing and it was. How stupid to engineer something where you can freeze the water line. The first serviceman told me to use a hair dryer to defrost it!
