I've seen those, would be excellent for a PTO blower.

Im wondering if it can push a front mount flail mower?
I might call the company and see, but im scared to get to close to the fire i might get burned. im one of those impulsive buyers.

I bet the price will be shocking. 8" of lift height is not much. Say good bye to the FEL because it will be way to difficult to remove the 3 pt at 400 lbs.

I don't think the flail will mow well being "pushed" rather than "pulled". You will be driving into all the just mowed clippings. Same for any 3pt mower mounted on the front.

There are companies, although I don't know which ones (possibly Claas), that specificly make front-mounted, pto-driven equipment. Front PTO and its associated equipment seems to be of European origins, and the US market has been slow to adopt and adapt.

I did find that Kuhn makes a front mounted disc mower, although at 10' it's probably just a little big for a CUT.

Neat concept, but I wonder if it would overstress the front axle (well, it wouldn't (IMHO) as long as one used some common sense).

I dont know about how strested the front axle would be. The hitch itself only weighs 260lbs, then the weight of the empliment which would be mostly resting on the ground when in use. I wonder how much the average front end loader weighs? it cant be any more than that could it.
This thing was intended for snow blowers and push blades but it does look like it would work with lighter weight flail mowers to me.
The price i found on this pto is 2900.00 plus shipping

I found differant brand front mount PTO that looks like it has more lift and is designed for more than just snow blowing.
