Ford 2000
Hello, I am new to tractor by net, but like what I have read. I have a ford 2000 with FEL, but I am looking to buy a tc33a with a 14LA FEL, R4 tires, and 9X3 trans. Iwould like to hear from someone who has this setup on there likes and dislikes, or problems they have had with there machine, or if they just had it to do over again what would they do different. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I replaced a Ford 2000 with a TC40D. I think the 2000 was in the high 30's or low 40's for hp, so if you want to keep your old PTO implements the TC33 MAY be a bit short on hp. Otherwise, the TC33 should be able to do pretty much everything the 2000 does - except get stuck! 4wd makes a huge difference! Size wise they are similar, but I can almost swear that the old Ford weighs more than my bigger TC40D, so you may need to add weight (filled tires, wheel weights, counterweight) like I did.

Thanks for the help. Have been checking back with dealer and found that to go from the TC33 with fel to the TC35 with fel the price only went up $500.00. or to go to the TC40 with fel it only went up $1700.00. From both units I will get a larger frame and larger all around capacity. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
