Any thoughts on this model tractor? Always owned JD but good used are difficult to locate. New......well it is green. Will run a NH 315 or 575 baler plus other general farm work. No plowing but do use 10" disk at times on hay ground clean up. MFD and with loader.
Have not looked at the tractor but appears to be in good shape. Estimated hours at 2500. $24,000 is high but through a dealer. Can purchase for less and looking at Tractor House.........use as a guide plus condition.

My boss had two, each were junk. His latest more than the other. The new with a cab is very poorly designed, I have to turn sideways to get in the cab and the rear hydraulic controls are situated behind the seat to the right. It didn't help much that it made me walk 5 miles 3 different times because it would break down. It was in the shop five times in twelve hours of use (shop is 1.5 hours away). The first one was ok but my 55 hp JD would do more than that tractor would. After working there, I will NEVER buy new holland equipment. In my opinion it is all poorly engineered and they just don't sit next to John Deere. Out here everyone gets them for the warranty but as soon as the warranty is over, they get a new one for a reason. His equipment is on a yearly maintenance plan with the dealer so it is upkeep very well. Both tractors alone have been in the shop more than all three of my John Deeres I have owned. The oldest was 15 years old when we sold it in 2007 and we still see the guy that bought it and its still going strong today.
