I have to be honest, and admit that I've probably broke this myself...
by mistake raised the 3 pt hitch lever, heard a small 'bang' a few seconds later... not knowing it could be related to the 3 pt hitch (still don't know for sure)
and now the 3 pt hitch doesn't seem to respond. I still had my backhoe hook up in the back, therefore I'm guessing the hitch tried to lift and ?!? something broke.

So basically, I'd like to know whether there is an actual safety, pin or otherwise that I may have damaged and can replace or is this a case of repair shop.
the manual doesn't seem to help me troubleshoot and I'm looking for a repair manual.

Everything else - hydraulic and otherwise still works fine.

Any suggestions?

I've removed the backhoe this week-end and had a better view of the hydraulic mechanism.
there seems to be a valve mechanism to lift the 3pt hitch, but not handle or control reaches the cabin.
I'm wondering whether anyone ever customized this to add a level/handle/control so I could lift the hitch from the cabin...? don't know of it would work otherwise. Pics to come.

Actually I take it back, the lever I referred to is the 3 pt hitch lever.
When I move it up or down, nothing happens.
I was wondering whether there was a pressure plug or safety that would bust before the pressure ruins any gearing, or pressure valve?
The diagrams I've seen on NH part store web site doesn't seem to give the exact same picture as what I have on my T1510 9x3 model.
Any suggestions?

Maybe the "valve mechanism" you saw is the upper limit valve (name?) that tells the arms to stop at the top. NH would have the 3-pt controls in the cab.
I wonder if you damaged the packing in the lift cylinder? Hydraulic relief valve should have prevented that but maybe it's gunked up?
Any news?

thanks for your comments, I guess I'll need to locate the hydraulic relief valve... I'll look for it on the plan located on the NH Online Part store site, unless someone knows an easy way to physically identify it.

Resolved - my neighbour and I read the manual throughout and found a section that relates to a diverter valve. There is a screw that requires to be set to 1 o'clock in order to allow the 3 pt hitch hydraulic to function, but cuts off the loader.
It seems that my original thought and the sound I've heard was not related to the 3 pt hitch lifting. Nothing is broken, but it is very inconvenient that I need to adjust that screw in order to either have the loader or the 3 pt hitch lift.

I guess I'll start another thread to ask whether the hydraulic may be modified to allow both loader and 3 pt hitch hydraulic to work together.
