Looking at a '96 NH 3930. 355 hr. Good rubber, no loader, 2 wd. Seller said it is cherry, and pics make it look that way. Still 15 yr old tractor??? I like old iron though, and think it may be worth a look. Any one have any comments about the 3930? Anything specific I should look for? Have seen these range from 9k shabby to 14K with bells and whistles. Seems to be all over the place, and I know it depends on the specific machine, but what would be a fair price for one in your area? Any Ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks Who,
Glad to hear that, around here a slightly used is 10-13K, with a well used around 8-9k. Seems to be a work horse for a lot of general around the farm tasks. Slightly bigger than the old 600, but nice size. Is the 3930 top of the series/frame size? What is your opinion of the tractor? Anyone have any experience with one of these?
Thanks.

Well I did it again... :) Went looking and this 3930 followed me home...
Actual been looking for some time, and when this 3930 with 350 hours showed up, I couldn't say no. Took one look, and knew it had to go home with me. Tractor was advertised as mint, and it turns out it was. Fellow owned it to mow with, and it was his baby. don't think you could find a nicer one anywhere. Been garaged, well maintained and polished all its life. It's a '96, and is all original. Only thing I can find that has been changed other than oil is the battery. (it's an 04, and will get replaced) Can't say how happy I am, but if you have brought one home, you already know... This unit will replace a 3430 that I have now, and will join his brother, a TN65. My CFO says "Yea Right" to keeping all 3. :( But that's OK, I would have to build a new barn if i did that. Hmmm!
Bought in Michigan, and had it shipped to Ohio. Found a site called UShip, where you tell them what you have to ship, where you want to pick up and delivery, and set your max price. You will receive bids on picking up and delivering. You can check the feedback of the shipper you choose, and make the deal. Worked GREAT for me. took 1 week from the time I looked at the tractor until I had it sitting in my yard. And I was very happy with the price, and the way my shipper handled the move. Always an unknown to do something like this, but for me it worked out great. Would recommend the UShip to people needing things moved from place to place. Nice job. SO anyone of you folks wanting to buy my 3430, and have it shipped can now take advantage of getting it where evere you want. :D

A somewhat local NH dealer has a 1998 3930 4wd w/loader advertised at $17,500, a 1990 4630 w/loader at $14,500, and a 1990 3230 with 185 hours at $11,900. Highest prices around and will sit on a machine until he gets his price.

Thanks Devil,
Once I had taken a look at it, I knew I had found my tractor. Rare to find anything used that is in this condition, let alone one that is 15yr old and looks this good. I was lucky.:D Truthfully, after 15 more years with me, it should not look to much different. I like to take care of my stuff, and keep it well maintained. Just makes sense to me.
