NH 29 Gut check

I'm about to buy a NH TC29 with a with a 7308 FEL and a 60" 930B mowing deck. The pricing we've come to is: $12975 (tractor) + $3400 FEL + $2100 mowing deck.

Two questions: (1) This look ok? (2) Would you go with a Woods deck for $300 more? Thank you.

Is it new, and if so is it a TC29DA? Or a left over 29D?

If used, hours and condition?

I bought a used 29D with 260hrs on ebay for a steal (so far... no problems... great condition) for 12,200 with FEL and MMM. I feel that I paid about $2500 less than true value.

It sounds in the ball park to me. I don't know anything about that brand of mower deck though. I purchased a new 2003 TC 29D last July with a 7308 FEL and Woods BB, LR and chipper/shredder for just a little bit more than the total price your looking at and I believe that was a pretty fair deal (in this local).

You could check out Corriher (under Dealers here on TBN) and email them for a quote on your setup (if you want a price comparison). They may not sell that brand of mower but they probably sell the Woods mowers. They seem to reply pretty quick too.

Not that I have alot of experience with tractor equipment but I don't think you can go wrong with Woods equipment (good quality).

How many hours, is it hydro, supersteer or other options. Also what area are you in as that makes a big difference. Best thing for your area is to go back and fill in your profile. And welcome to TBN.

Does the Woods deck change the NH financing %? When I was looking, an other than OEM attachment affected the interest rate.

Why is the Mower Deck so high? the 60 inch deck on my kubota was quite a bit cheaper. Is that a normal price for a NH Mower deck?
