I am having intermittent issues with my tractor moving. It will be moving along fine and then all of a sudden stop. My hydraulics will still work but I will not be able to move. It is almost like the hydraulics are cut off to the drivetrain. Sometimes its a quick pause, most of the time I play around with forward/Reverse lever, Gear selection and Low/Med/High lever. I haven't had it fail to come back but sometimes it may take a minute or two. Any ideas what I should be looking at?

Few things to mention:

- Checked fluids - They were ok
- Hydraulic fluid and filter was replaced about 100 hours ago. Also doesn't seem like a flow issue because when working everything works fine under load
- Doesn't seem to matter if in forward, reverse, Gear #1,2,3 or 4 or whether in Low, Medium or high.
- Doesn't seem to matter if has a load or not.
- If left in gear and do not touch clutch sometimes will buck and keep going.

Just found another thread about similar issues and their issue was the control box for the HSS. Not sure how to link a thread. Leaning towards this until I can disprove it.

Thanks in advance!

Do you notice this when in a pull or going up hill?

Have you check your hydraulic fluid level?

Are the rear tires loaded and how much air is in them?

I added more information to the post which I think will be helpful.

- No difference when pulling or going up hill
- Hydraulic fluid level was where it was suppose to be
- Tires are loaded. Not sure of psi... I adjust them to the amount of tread touching the ground. What is your train of thought on this?

It is not uncommon for the rim of loaded tires to spin in the tire causing the issues you are seeing. Normally it is because of too low of pressure. Sometimes you have to run as much as 20psi to solve the issue. Certainly worth a look.

Ahh. Good to know. 20psi Sounds like a lot. I feel like I'm around 5 but not 100%. Either way I have 4wd and all tires will stop when it happens.

I run about 15 psi. Yes if you it stops in 4wd or with the differential lock engaged then I would think this would not be your issue. I like to rule out the simple stuff first.
