I bought a NewHolland 273 square baler and it seems to be out of time. Does anyone know where the timing marks are? Its been a long time since I worked on anything that old and can't remember. .

If you are referring to the needles being out of time there are two sets of marks. According to the manual on page 30 the main plunger crank should be in a vertical position, there is a mark A & B these are on the upper side of the bale chamber under the tin cover that lifts up to expose the plunger area just behind the flywheel. There are also another set of marks used in timing on the knotter/twister clutch assembly. You really need a manual.
