newer MF 231 with Koyer loader

Hello all
Local JD dealer has a newer mf231 sn 5681H07047 listed with 170 hrs and a koyker 160 loader.

Whats the scoop on these tractors ? are the the newer model of the MF35/MF135 line?

Seems to be a exact copy of my 1963 MF35. Is the reliability of the new 231's silmiar to the old MF135?

Thinking i will never afford a brand new CUT so maybe just replace my 46 yr old MF with another one

The MF231 is a good and strong tractor. Not to crazy about that loader thow.
Belive you would be verry happy with that tractor.

They are good tractors and mostly dependable. Hydraulic flow is very low (3gpm I think) so the loader will operate slow. Other than that they give little trouble.

Very solid and reliable tractors. When they were new a few years ago the sold for $10K to $11K. Ken Sweet

My MF231 was my first love... and still is. I wouldn't trade it for anything! Mine is a '98 model.
