After posting my intro in some obscure place on here where apparently no one visits, I lurked around to find my Kioti friends So here's a duplicate of my intro:

I have a Kioti LK3054 4WD that I picked up from an old friend that is a Snapper/Stihl/small engine dealer. I don't know how he got it and he really didn't know much about it. The tractor is in pretty decent mechanical condition based on the 12 or so hours I've put on it so far. If I had to guess, I'd say this tractor is late 90s. Is there a way to run the serial to confirm that? I've found TractorJoes for parts so far and after a few google searches for different things, I keep ending up here. So I joined! At present, I don't need any help but I'm sure I will before too long and you folks seem to be a very helpful community.

For what it's worth, at least I'm an old gear-head. My daily driver that I don't turn wrenches on is a 17 F-150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost and 10 speed tranny. My weekend toys are an '04 Mustang GT with slight mods and a built '98 Wrangler with a 4.6L Inline 6 Stroker motor. However, this diesel thing is new to me.

The first digit of the serial number indicates the "build year."

Thanks for the welcome y'all. I'm already learning stuff around here...I'll go take a peek at the tractor when I get a chance and get more of an idea of what I've got. I'm slowly correcting issues that I hope remain minor neglect items. Replaced regulator, fender handle snapped, check link rig job being replaced, slow-traffic triangle replacement, it has no bulbs or sockets in any of the lights, air filter, gauges work but not the idiot lights, etc.

I kinda want to replace the instrument cluster because this one is foggy. The tractor has obviously been stored outside up until now so I'm sure I'll find other issues.
