ford 2n kubota l5030
Well the 2n got replaced. Found a used l5030 r4s 853 fel 806 hours. between a scale 1-10 I give it an 8 overall.
What concerns me is the price 15800. Is the Grand L series going to hold resale?Or did I just find a deal?

I did a quick check on prices for 5030's. I would say $15800 is a great price for a 1 or 2 year old tractor with that many hours.

I'm sure some of the TBN 5030 owners will give their opinions when they get a chance.

Tankeryanker, Welcome to TBN and the 21 century. I just arrive here last year myself when I went from a Farmall "A" to a L5030HST. If the 5030 you bought is a HST then I would say that is a great deal, if not, then a good deal. Your price is about 10K or 40% off the price of a new HST. Did you buy it from a dealer? The question you ask about resale value has me puzzled. (Being your first post and buying a used tractor.) Are you going to sell it soon or are you going to use it for many years. What part of the world are you located in?
Keep in touch with TBN it is an excellent support group! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Tanker Yanker, congratulations on your Vegas wedding! When you click on my name on the left you can view my profile. I urge you and and all other newbies to put in as much information as you feel comfortable with. The information will give the rest of us TBN'ers an idea of the size and kind of your land and general location, as well as your equipment. As you can see from my profile no specific information is given but enough to get a good idea of my tractor/implements and land description and size. This gives us with similar land or tractors to ask and give specific information to help each other. This web site is really neat, you can post pictures and send PMs (private messages).

To answer your question, I am 50 miles east of Austin, Texas in the rolling hills of the Post oak Savannah region of Texas.
I think you paid a good price for your tractor and don't have to worry about being upside-down (unless you got a really high interest rate on your loan with a really long payoff and you let your tractor deteriorate).

Did your 5030 get it's 800 hour service. The three big service intervals are 50, 400 and 800 hours.

Don't forget to fill in you profile! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
