Newbie here w/ JD 4410 on order

Hi all,
Been lurking here along with several other sites for about a week doing research on which tractor to buy. You all have a great site with quite a bit of good information.
I am posting this to maybe help others with pricing. I purchased a 4410 w/ 4wd (standard), eHydro, speedmatch and cruise upgrade, rear set of wheel weights and a 430 FEL for $19,900 + tax. The tractor lists as built for $25,933. That is 23.2% of MSRP.
Now I am sure MSRP is there to help us feel good about spending $2000 on a tool/toy but I think I got a rather good deal. The dealer had started at this price for a 4310.
So any who, this machine is in stock and will be delivered once I get back home from business next Wednesday or Thursday.

Thanks for the info. I am waiting to hear what a 4410 quote is, and was hoping for something in that neighborhood.

Getting rear hyd hookups?

I suppose all you had to do was walk over to the Deere plant in GA (Augusta?) and pick it off the assembly line? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

(either that or it has been shipped all over the country from one depot to another, finally ending up in the assembly plants backyard /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif )

We have 5 acres here in NW GA. This tractor will be replacing my '52 8N as a mower, bush hog, towing, pulling machine. I plan on doing quit a bit of landscaping, tilling and minor excavating. There are several retaining walls to be built and flower gardens to be had. I will be putting up a 6 strand high tensle wire electric fence. I hope for this machine to help out in all these tasks and then some.
