Hi everyone. I have a question about choosing a tractor that fits the work that i will be doing. I will mainly be doing landscaping chores around my house such as FEL work: mulch,dirt,gravel,rock, and building beds,leveling,grading,post hole digging,backhoe, and sometimes a 4ft bush hog. I have been reading alot about the Kioti ck20 and it seems like it would do just fine. It seems like every one is very pleased with thiers. I didnt know if the ck20 or ck25 would be what i need. What do yall say?

I have the CK25. But, the CK20 would probably work quite well for you. I chose the CK25 because I needed to do a lot of heavy duty digging and the price difference between CK25 gear and a CK20 HST wasn't very much. I use a backhoe a lot on mine. So the added weight of the CK25 along with the bigger hydraulic pump capacity, and longer hoe were also determining factors.
The CK20 is quite capable. It's also easier to store, transport, and maneuver. And you don't give up a whole lot on loader capacity. The extra hp of the CK25 at the PTO could be a factor, but not for a 4 foot brush hog.

I agree that the CK20 in TLB configuration is a very capable machine. For "around the house" landscaping and chores it is about all the tractor you'd ever need and has the advantage of being more compact.
The only advantages I can see to a CK25 (which by the way is probably no longer available...replaced by the more expensive CK27) are that 1) you would have a heavier machine if ground engaging work was a major part of your plans, 2) one size up to 5ft on implements such as boxblade or bush hog and 3) that the CK25 (or 27) could mount an 8foot backhoe rather than a 7 footer. All of these "advantages" involve more cost however.
I owned a CK20 TLB and was very happy with it for virtually all tasks that I had in clearing and maintaining a 5 acre site.
