LS XG3025
Hey all,

I picked up a new XG3025 this past Thursday after hours of research comparing it to similar models of other manufacturers. I really liked the fact that this tractor has a loader lift capacity of 300lbs more than most of the competitors. It also seems that most people have good experiences with the tractors.

I used it lightly on Friday just driving around and loading piles of small rocks and trash in the bucket by shovel. When I got on it today (Saturday) I noticed there was a a few small wet looking spots on the floor mat under the loader joystick. I couldn't see a leak so I proceeded to do several hours of heavier work today. At the end of the day I was looking the machine over and noticed that there were more wet spots which ended up being hydraulic fluid. See pictures below.

It looks like some is coming from the top of the joystick area and some from one of the bottom hoses. I guess it could all be coming from the top and just be running down to the bottom hose. Can someone tell me whats up? I'm going to check the torque on the hoses tomorrow. Other than this leak, I'm digging the new rig!

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

The standard (and personal) TBN advice for a newly arrived tractor is to, after reading the owners manual back-to-front, grease every nipple (zerk) & spray lubricate everything that moves but doesn't have a nipple. Torque the wheel lugs to be sure they weren't missed by the dealership and tighten all the bolts/connections you can find. All this before you operate/use it for the first time. Sometimes the 'shop' misses something during 'wet-up'.

Tightening the hydraulic hoses should fix the fault... but initially threading the connections together can be finicky and the 'shop' may have slightly 'screwed' it up.

Enjoy the site.

Good advice! Seems like common sense but one would think the dealers would double check everything. I guess they may miss something from time to time. I'll give it a once over today before I get back on it.

Funny you posted this. At 179 hours my Steering and bucket hydraulics got terrible. I did the filter at 50 per manual. Get the drain plug loose took my 1/2 " impact. After the F&F change it was better. Today I did more troubleshooting here what I found main pressure line was loose, a connection hose on suction side* both clamps loose, 2 fittings on a the distrubution block* loose 2 fittings on the* bucket control loose.

Check the 4 connection on the bucket control. I think they are 15/16. There are 2 special washeres on each one. What I have found is all the hyd fittings are not metric but American

Cool thanks for the tips. I have it parked in the garage now waiting on a free evening to check it all out.
