First of all, I am not selling these enclosures nor am I connected to the seller, so I hope the mod's will allow this thread to stand. I know of a seller who has (5) new enclosures (stock# GR-KUPENC in the box) that will fit Kubota L45 TLB's. Supposedly, these enclosures are $1489 new, but he's selling them for $500 each. They are located near Cola, SC btw. The enclosures look to be vinyl, they are not hard side (glass and metal) cabs, so be sure you understand that. I am not sure if the canopy is included, maybe someone here would know that?

I don't know if they were originally sold by Kubota as I am not a Kubota person, but it looks like they could be. The phone number given looks legit because when I do a reverse phone lookup, it comes back near the location in the ad. (Not gonna post the link here as it will go dead at some point). I can connect you with it if you're interested, and again, I am not making anything off of it. Just trying to help out some fellow TBN'ers with what looks like to be a decent deal. I imagine some of you ingenious folks could probably adapt one of these enclosures to a similar sized tractor, if you wanted to get one.

So I took the gamble and contacted Kebo who put me in touch with the original seller from the ad. After a bunch of text messages I sent them Paypal and provided a shipping address. Low and behold yesterday Fedex dropped me off a large box that certainly appears to have a soft cab inside!

I inventoried the components and it appears to be the real deal! Hopefully I will get some time to install it Friday and I'll try to post up pics!

I did the same.
I have not opened the box yet, to cold, too busy, but it appears to be the real deal also. Seller is honest. I got the story of how he ended up with the inventory. $1,500 list price is a lot for some plastic drapes , but $500 is the right price. They are originally from

I agree about the $1500. For that price you can buy a soft cab with a hard window from a different company in NJ. Welcome to USA Tractor Cabs :: Vinyl and Acrylic Tractor Cabs

I had a soft cab on an L39 I owned and I was instantly missing it when I got the L45. I'm pretty stoked to install this. The initial quality looks very high. The storage bag is much appreciated for the summer.

I got it installed today, a bit of a pain in the butt but all in only ~1.5 hours for the first install. The quality is definitely there. The zippers are all heavy duty. The material feels very sturdy. I'm pretty sure these are actually the upgraded front windshield models too!

Some tips:

1. The 3M adhesive backing likes to tear on you if you try to pull it as you go.
1a. Make sure you CLEAN the frame. I used a bit of brake cleaner on a paper towel to make sure it was totally clean.
2. Unzip all of the panels from their rope portions (this will make sense when you do it) BEFORE you try to slide them into the track.

I still need to pull all of the protective wrapping off the clear plastic but I'm letting it "relax" in its new installed configuration. I also need to put my "roof" back on since I have to pull it to clear my garage door.

Pics to follow...eventually.

It is just so nice to hear about a good deal that is also good quality. It makes my day. That makes me wish they had one to fit the M59 as well, but the 59 is just enough larger cab that I doubt an enclosure for the 39/45 would fit.
Still, I'm glad you guys got something useful.
Good season on us all....

Did yours come with instructions?
PS I PM you.
It looks like the intention is to screw the panel to the fender.
Do I need to worry about the Aluminum rail placement on the FOPS or is there enough give in the panels so that the zippers will not be too tight?

Thanks

I'll do my best to get you instructions. This weekend is just really busy for me.

The channels get installed on the fops. The round portion hangs below the edge of the fops. They only fit 1 way.

Unzip all of the panels from the white rope portions. Slide them into their respective channels.

Now zip on all of the panels.

The bungee cord in the front hooks on the lower engine covers to seal around the steering column.

The tabs along the fenders are malleable and just get bent around the fender lips.

I think that's pretty much it. Took me about 1.5 hours taking my sweet time.

Thank you

Have a Merry Christmas.
Photo's of how to attach the Aluminum Rails to the ROPS Frame would sure help, as With the 3M VHB I have one shot at getting the placement correct.

I get how the tabs along the fenders are malleable. Why did they supply both Stainless screws and also the rivets? I thought the rivets are to- give additional support to the Aluminum Rails? Or are the screws for the Rails?

You'll find they place themselves on the sides and rear. Then just match the front.

The instructions say to use rivets or screws for the aluminum channel.
