New Tractor owner

Hi
I am a new tractor owner. Don't have it yet..being delivered tomorrow. Bought a Sears yt 4000. Bought on price. Just wondering...what does purging the transmission mean. I kept seeing threads from owners who suggested this.
Any suggestions from owners. Thanx

My suggestion is to cancel the purchase right now. Then read up on all the lawn and garden posts to familiarize yourself with riding mowers before making a purchase. Tell us about your yard how big, how open it is or whether there is lots of trees and shrubs. This way you can hear from lots of posters and get a lot of good suggestions. A week or so of this can save you alot of grief.:thumbsup:


This may sound harsh but the mower you selected will be a constant problem I'd bet and I have had a similar model. Total waste of money in my opinion.
