Tractor News new tractor and pic's

Here is my reveiw of my new tractor.
New 2010 Massey Ferguson 1643.
New FEL/ Skid Steer loader bucket.
Tires are R-4's with adjustable rims and center wheels
Trans. Power shuttle. 12X12.

the more I get to play with this thing the better I am lovin' it
Just had to take some pic's and show you what I got for the $23,500.00
got for me. notice that in the loader pic it has mounting brackets for a grapple. which I find to be a bonus for me.
The loader is a skid steer type, notice the reinforcement under the bucket.

Why did you pick the 1643 over the 1635?
What do you mean by Adjustable rims?
Did you get rear remotes?
How do you like the Power Shuttle? Better then the Hydro?

I'm guessing because the 1635 and the 1643 are identical machines except you get more HP. And that HP doesn't cost much more. Just my guess.

we I needed the extra horses, adjustable rims, you can turn the inner wheel around and the rims around to narrow or widen the foot print . you can bring the wheels in to 60" wide or to 72" wide depending on what you want.

No didn't get the rear remotes but will add later.
I am liking the power shuttle, the 1528 I had was a gear, my only problem is
I keep forgetting there is no R for reverse on the shifter, reverse is on the steering collum.
I choose the power shuttle because I didn't want to give up
p.t.o. hp. I know it's just 1 or 2 hp. but may just need it somewhere.

All in all I can't wait till it's mowing season. and It rides so much smoother that my old 1528.

I have been shopping hard for my next tractor and i keep coming back to MF. Looked at the Orange ones yesterday, didn't like the feel or comfort, went over to see the Green guys, didn't see the value. No Blue near me, not interested in trying the smaller brands so I may stay Red.
