Just received my new XG 3032 today and not even 3.5 hours on it and I manage to poke a hole in my front tire with a piece of glass. Should I put plug in take it or take it to a tire shop to have a patch installed on the inside? Anyone know the PSI for the front tire?
The max PSI rating should be listed on the tire. Most tractors run at the max inflation pressure of the tire, but the owner's manual may have additional information.
Can't advise you about the repair without seeing the damage and location of the damage. But I have fixed a lot of equipment tires with plugs and never had issues. The only place they won't work is for cuts or slashes. It has to be a point puncture for a plug to be used.
the puncture is in the tread between the lugs, The piece of glass was maybe 1/4" at the widest portion which was not in the tire, the piece of glass went to a point total length was maybe 1/4" long as well.

Yeah, I'd plug that no worries. The reamer opens up and rounds out the hole anyhow. Of all the things you could do to a new tractor, this one isn't too bad. No paint or bodywork needed!!
