New tracks for Supertrak TL-150

Hey all,

It's time for new tracks for our Supertrack TL-150. We don't do 100% mulching- the machine is both use for landscaping and turf applications, and mulching maybe 20-30%. It is one machine in our collection- so it's not a daily or even weekly user.

I am in PA and need a set of good quality, multipurpose pattern tracks to replace what is now on machine (Worn C-pattern). Ideas and suggestions welcome. I need to get a set asap as One is near blowout!

There is a place just outside of Atlanta on the side of I-85 north of the city that sells all kinds of replacement tracks. They will be on the right hand side if you are traveling southbound into the city. Sorry, I can't remember the name. It is a huge building though.

We put a set of Taiga tracks on our T320 when the originals broke. As a 100% mulcher you tear them, not wear them out.

We have about 600 hours on them and so far so good. About $1800 cheaper than OEM bridgestone tracks.

I also run a Supertrak TL150, great machine:thumbsup:. We us the "V-Track" brand track with alternating tread blocks(same as stock tread design on a Tak TL140 machine). We went through Midwest Equipment. Great rubber compound and robust link inserts. I have 1900+ hours and only have replaced one set of (V-Track tracks) since machine was new and have had great service from this brand. Operator style has alot to do with life of tracks and after lots of trial and error, we also have developed our own tooth design that really produces alot smaller/finer mulch than OEM Fecon teeth. However, I agree with Fishfactor, in that the life of the track will expire before the actual tread is gone. We mulch about 80% and grade about 20% of the time.
