New \"toy\"

Last friday I finally received my L3000 tractor with a Woods 7500 backhoe, a bucket and a post hole digger. After waiting 20 years for my first tractor and looking around at all the different options, I'm feeling pretty darn good about this one! Over the weekend I put it through its paces and found it to be the perfect size and it has enough beef to do just about anything I want with it. Getting the subframe and backhoe off was a pain until I had a friend show me the proper sequence, but other than that...no complaints. Now I just have to convince my wife that this is not a "toy" and no...it just looks like I'm having fun!

Congratulation staveisland,

I really wanted a backhoe, but couldn't get it in the purchase with the tractor. I am sure you will find a lot to do with the tractor and backhoe and wonder how you managed to get things done for the last 20 years. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Congratulation on your new Kubota plus the attachments,also to the website.

With in time it shall be second nature learning how to disconnect and connect attachments,and some day you can share with another new tractor owner.

I'm not sure how you can convince your wife that your not having fun.....mmmmm,maybe if you rub some dirt on your pants & arms & face and stop smiling as you use your new Kubota.
