Well, I've gone and done it now. Got me a new (used)motorcyle. I'm certain you'll be hearing about some injuries as I play with my new toy. Got a great deal on it on ebay. I drove four hours each way to pick it up, but it was worth it. It's a 1998 Suzuki DR350SE with 2,000 miles on it.

Also, pay no attention to the guy with the bad hair-do.

Oh, and its tractor related because I parked it next to my tractor.

It looks in great shape. When was the last time you road a dirt bike? I hope you take it easy at first...you'll be stiff for sure if it's been a while.

I can already picture you hauling butt into that field behind you with the owner waving his fist! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As for riding motorcycles:

1) You don't have to be crazy, but it helps, /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif and

2) It ain't a question as to whether it'll hurt you; it's just a question as to when and how bad. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

And yep, I've had 6 of them in the past and got lucky; no broken bones, and only a little skin rubbed off a time or two. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

You may want to go to your doctor, dentist, and other physicians and get your medical records put on a CD-rom. It is much easier to give the hospital a CD than trying to explain everything to them. You may want to print out a copy of your charts to have on hand as well. Sort of like Patrick Swaze in Roadhouse when he carried around his medical charts.
Be careful as well as have fun. Where are you going to hook the chain when you need to use it to pull out your tractor?

Hmmmm. it looks like it has turf tires /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I think there are several things I would do to it, number one is get some decent ags on it ( read as Knobbies). I think I would then get all that extra light junk and all the reflectors and put them in a box. Next thing is go get a helmet, some pads etc and then go riding real slow /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. Have fun and all those waffle tread tires are good for is busting your rear, on pavement they are terrible and on dirt they are terribler /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif. J

Yeah, I think you have to be even crazier to ride the bulls. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I never tried that, but did try riding a few very young ones (read calves) when I was a kid and I figured out that those things move muscles differently from a horse; just ain't designed right for ridin'. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I do like to watch the PBR events, though.
